I was talking to my cousin about how neither of us were excited, but then yesterday my friend texted and asked if I wanna see it with her, and she offered to buy my ticket so I'm going now, lol

I saw comparison gifsets to hype up the recreated scenes, and it just killed any momentum I had because damn, I'm going to miss explosive color palette while watching the new one

I always felt that Shadowland was an underdeveloped solo for Nala, so I'll be interested to see what they do with Beyonce's original solo track. I just hope it actually blends into the existing songs, unlike Jasmine's weird ass early 2000's girl power ballad from Aladdin.
