This is reminding me that I haven't seen this movie in years, like more than a decade. Goodness.

And it's making me wonder how I'd feel rewatching some of the movies I remember seeing in my teen years.

I hate this movie so much and I have no idea why it's so popular.

My dad is not up on celeb culture at all and he still refers to Julia Roberts as "pretty woman" which shows you just how big the movie was though!

I've never watched the movie all the way through but I once read a cracked article that claimed Julia's character was originally supposed to be a cocaine addict. But they totally cut it from the movie.

I think it was her roommate was the addict? And that's where she kept blowing all of their rent money.

Yeah that’s pretty dark and sadly realistic. Very unpretty. With that said, I genuinely enjoyed that movie from what I can remember. Julia really made that movie. Her hair was amazing. Gere was a DILF but he was just a rich white dick in the movie. Typical classist film. Vivian deserved better. I rooted for her going off that rude sales lady. ~Sweet revenge~

i miss women being "allowed" to have naturally curly hair in movies like this. now everyone has the same long gentle victoria's secret beachy hair.

same lol. This is what my hair is like on a good day, just a bit longer. People like it but I know some people also view it as messy and think I look better with it straight. It's just so typical lol, and I feel like goes back to women not being allowed to have character and all look the same. my hair does whatever it wants and so do I, lmao.

I’ve tried to watch this movie numerous times and have never been able to get thru the first 30 minutes.
