Out of all the crimes that happen in Chicago, this is the one that they're not giving up on. Things that make you go hmmm.

It feels like this mostly on the prosecutor really fucking up here. I don't know what she was thinking. You can't recuse yourself because you're friendly with the people involved in such a high-profile case and then instead of appointing a special prosecutor, just have one of your deputies take over and drop all the charges.

She and Jussie would've have been better off if she never recused herself and just gotten him community service and a fine or something.

Yeah, Ia, I think she was the one who dropped the ball. And tbf, I think it's okay to examine possible corruption, though in the grand scheme of things, she was probably right in her statement that Chicago PD should worry about different things.

I mean, he was clearly guilty and because he was rich and connected to the prosecutor the charges were dropped. A special prosecutor is the least that can happen.
