Right? It just goes to show- self hatred impacts so many women regardless of outside appearance. She felt she had to spend shitloads of money on a whole bunch of plastic surgery because she didn’t look good enough

body dysmorphia is a son of a bitch. most days i have no idea what i look like, and i cant imagine surgery and heavy 24/7 makeup application making that better.

She started pretty young too. I remember there was a post about her first divorce and her ex husband claimed he paid for her lipo and boob job. She was like 19 when they got married, so it just comes to show that if she would've had the money earlier, she would've started fucking with her face way earlier like Kylie did.

My "tribute" was Carrie/Vader lol, my dad's not on social media anyway.

I hope everyone who wants to gets to spend quality time with their dad. if you can't or your dad sucks, do something for yourself instead.

my dad chose not raise me... but it's weird, ive never *met* someone whose dad i wished was mine

for my friends with dads in their lives, there's lots of infidelity with the mom, emotional abuse, EXTREME physical abuse, etc.

I feel like the bar is so low. I only get jealous when watching tv and movies tbh. irl there is so much mediocrity lolol

The bar is low. I love my dad, and know some other great dads irl but I was talking to a friend of mine who has a young kid and just had a new baby who was saying her husband is great/does a lot of the work too but that that’s still not anything close to a given, when of course it should be. She feels like she hit the jackpot because she has a husband that’s actively involved in raising his own kids

The bar is too low. For a lot of men, people act like they're father of the year for paying attention to their kid occasionally, "babysitting" their kid, etc.

My partner has like a really good dad. Her mom had a more *~traditional~* job aka he was his own boss so he did the majority of the childcare during the week. And ny partner still calls him when she’s stressed or bummed or whatever. (I mean, her mom is still at the same high pressure job.) But her parents are also both really type-A and I find that overwhelming lol so 🤷🏾‍♀️
