lmao One time I was in a Walmart when the power went off. It stayed off long enough that they asked people to leave their carts & head out the front doors. I heard a lot of people saying "fuck, I'm just gonna roll out the door with this & not pay"

Wasn’t walmart the store where there was some glitch in the SNAP cards and people suddenly had unlimited funds and were buying like 5 entire carts worth of food lol

at my old summer job (tourist beach restaurant) there was this one summer where out of nowhere all of the registers would go down and we would have to do shit the old fashioned way with like hand written paper receipts and calculators lol, we had to station someone outside to tell every potential customer "sorry cash only right now" it was a fucking mess and it took them months to truly fix it.

I wasn't there, but didn't all the starbucks go down a couple of years ago and people in the stores just got their orders for free lol?
