In Korea the number of female TV screenwriters is close to 90%. In contrast, only 27% of all U.S. network directors, writers, producers, executive producers, editors and photography directors are women.

the last k-drama i watched was strong woman Do Bong Soon, but I got annoyed by the typical love triangle and how shitty the MC's mother was. Loved her outfits tho.

I love Strong Woman, I didn't mind the love triangle. I was rooting for the cop for most of it tbh, but the rich CEO won me over completely eventually. He was just so nice. The only thing that is bad about Strong Woman imo is the weird homophobic subplot with the doppelganger, like I still didn't get what the hell that was

That one fell off the rails omg the side plots were also insanely stupid and a waste of time. I forwarded like 70% of the later eps. The couple was sooo cute tho omg i was obsessed

The couple def saved that drama. And the fact that it was Park Bo Young. I'm not sure about her latest drama, though. I'm trying to watch for her, but I just can't get over the superficiality of it.

Do Bong Soon had a lot of potential and it just..didn't live up at all. I loved the 2 leads and the 2nd guy tho so it really is a pity.

I just finished the last ep last night.

I still like it because it's supposed to be lighthearted and comedic, so I don't take it seriously.

I don't like the mom's attitude though, I must admit. However, everything else was enjoyable to me.

The heroic stuff isn't that much given any screentime. Besides the 1st and last ep, it's a very typical K-Drama, which I'm all for, lol.
