Gay icon Mariah Carey celebrates Pride Month
For the third year in a row, Mariah Carey has posted on social media wishing her legions of LGBTQIA+ fans a happy Pride Month, with limited-edition Pride merchandise available at http://mariahpride.com.

Throughout her decades-long career, Carey is known for using her platform to celebrate gay rights. She received the GLAAD Ally award in 2016 for her efforts to support the LGBTQ community, which she redefined as legendary, gorgeous, beautiful, tantalising, and quality. She has officiated gay wedding proposals on stage at multiple concert performances. Carey has also explained how many of her dance remixes were created with her gay audiences in mind, and in 2012 she debuted Triumphant at G-A-Y in London with a special message for gay fans.
