their little media empire is hilarious to me like they produced that running with beto doc, they're doing this, they did stuff with HBO, they're all such starfuckers, it's hilarious. i don't discount that they've done some good either but i'm also not wrong

I usually listen to only pod save the world but I should probably get to keep it.

My favorite thing about the Obama episode they did at the very beginning was him making an off handed remark about how instead of staying in Washington to do other work they decided to do a podcast instead. I can’t remember exactly but he called them out.

Hysteria can also be good - I agree with a lot of the critiques of the PSA guys (though I kind of like them), but they do seem to make the effort to have women and POC on their podcast books.

Lovett sounds great at parties tbh. I really enjoyed his anecdote about meeting Elizabeth Holmes at a part and afterwards believing she was either getting totally screwed or she was a complete psychopath and not knowing which one was true at the time.

TBH I was shocked when I was listening to this that MANDEL seemed like the reasonable one with a better grasp of character. Like I still hate what he did with the show but I can see that he was actually trying to get somewhere with it he's just terrible at convincingly writing Selina into being a self-hating woman.

I don't even know why JLD said she always played her as being a misogynist. Like the best excuse I can come up with is her being loyal to Mandel but maybe she really did always play her that way, IDEK.
