Harvey Weinstein has reached a $44 million civil agreement with his sexual misconduct accusers, former business partners and other entities.
The settlement would provide approximately $30 million to plaintiffs, which include Weinstein's alleged victims, Weinstein Co. employees and creditors.
The remaining $14 million would cover the legal fees of Weinstein's former business associates.
If finalized, the deal would conclude months of mediation sessions between all parties involved.
The settlement has nothing to do with the criminal case.
Weinstein could serve life in prison if convicted on the other charges. His trial is set for September.
