If we're going to do Reichenbach again, can we have someone else "fall and die" other than Sherlock? But the only people who I think could do it, are Gregson, Hill & Joan (and probably Kitty) but only Joan would have the emotional resonance for it to really really mean something. I'd rather not have the Asian woman die in the end.
Thinking about it, here's a spec on what could happen. Sherlock falls, trying to save Joan. (Of course, he survives). That fixes his murder charge and he uses Everyone to help him assume another identity so he can stay in the US with Joan. Or he'll use whoever the Big Bad is and frame him for the murder.
