re: weird pet sitter shit: we've used the same cat sitting service for several years, and they send different sitters each time. some are great, some are okay, but one of the last ones we had was ehhhh - he left a mess of litter on the floor, overfilled the box, and didn't clean their bowls. we had him again recently, and I let it go because I thought maybe he had a bad day the last time he was there. well, again he left a mess and didn't clean their bowls, and I was annoyed, but I didn't want to get him in trouble. then I found his shirt for his other job (a pet store) in our dryer. like, fine, use my dryer, I don't really care, but then also do what we're fucking paying you to do?? I emailed the company to ask he not be assigned to us again and told them why, and they said he said he put it there because he needed to change. like... in our dryer, and not on a couch or a table or a counter? don't lieeeeeeee!!

Wow that is really crossing boundaries imo. He's using your electricity and then forgets what he was doing, like, how do you forget your shirt? I suppose he used your washer, too? Imo the company should've responded, Oh we're so sorry you're frustrated, thank you for the feedback, and we'll address this with the employee, rest assured he won't be assigned to you anymore, and thanks again for your business. But they lied and made excuses? Bleh.

To their credit, they did apologize, gave me a credit, and said he wouldn't be assigned to us again. I just thought it was hilarious they also felt the need to defend him in their response, like... even if it is true, which I guess is possible, that is totally beside the point!
