The dancer wearing the Palestine flag (Mona Berntsen) is norwegian and it's been over the news here that she was questioned over the incident for one and a half hrs... like, i'm p sure it wasn't her idea!

another palestine eurovision easter egg - you may have noticed Sweden's Eric Saade saying he wished he could have been there, hopefully next year though, before giving Sweden's douze. He's actually of Palestine descent and has restrictions on entering Israel.

Just saw that, how unnecessary from the Israeli authorities

Madonna rejecting the actual political demands of Palestinians who told international allies exactly what they could do to support them, so that she could instead wave some flags around, make it about her and collect free press from the controversy to boost her latest garbage album in the process is such peak white rich lady ~activism~.

her giving a rambling "everyone here is a winner!" speech while the artists looked on confused was hilarious

So fucking lazy & tone deaf. People did not ask for this weak ass fake show of support, they asked for a boycott.

I skipped watching this year, I wasn't feeling this bullshit tbh

The production was so overloaded and then lighting so bad that you could barely tell what was going on tbh. And her vocals were tragic.

Israel should have never won in the first place.
