Yeah this summary is gross. Like, suddenly she cares about looking frumpy and also cares about being skinny and also brings up the weight of her friends. I cringed away from the screen reading that.

the videos posted up above make good point on it but basically it's all very formulaic & one note in the same ways others shows can be misogynistic but dresses it up as 'cute geeky out of touch' and lets it sit and nothing ever gets better. Also, for me, the lack of diversity over 12 seasons really annoys me as does how the show never seemed to incorporate the revelation that it's their personalities not interests that makes it hard to deal with the guys.

That's what I love about ONTD. Yes, they shit on everything I love here and there is someone around to find something wrong with every person and every piece of media out there, but what's important is that when I need to hate something, ONTD is there for me to come bask in that hate.
