ABC has renewed The Rookie, Single Parents, and Bless This Mess for season two, Fresh Off the Boat for season six, and American Housewife for season four.

I've enjoyed Single Parents a lot, but after the finale I'm not sure I like where it's going.

Pairing up four of the five parents is too much. I wish they'd leave Angie and Will as just good friends, because I don't think Leighton and Taran have romantic chemistry. I love him, but his character is just way too much of a goober.

IA. They go back and forth in each episode, where they hint that there's something more romantic there, but then it goes back to showing that they are just really great friends and closest to each other in the group.

They should just do the whole will-they-won't-they and prolong the Poppy and Douglas one, though they're not as good a pair as Will and Angie. They should just get of the pairings within the group all together.

i love american housewife and surprisingly i also love the rookie, so i'm glad. i also watched 5/6 episodes of single parents and it was very cute, i'll binge the rest soon.

I like The Rookie, too. I was hesitant to watch it because I thought it would be all about Nolan but it's not. I love the characters.

same bb! i was never much of a nathan fillion fan, but i liked some of the other cast members, so i tried watching and i was pleasantly surprised when i realized it was an ensemble (SVU could learn a thing or two, especially about casting POC but also about giving other characters a moment to shine). and it's a decent show writing-wise, too, imo. i'm happy for S2.
