The box office for this film has been INSANE lol. It has absolutely caught everyone off guard.

There was a Vulture article yesterday that had a quote from an insider who insisted that there was no way Endgame could overtake Avatar because James Cameron is an ~auteur~ and the Russo’s were nobody’s. Like yeah they’re not James Cameron but the MCU brand is stronger than the Cameron brand. Especially since Avatar became a pop culture joke.
