I watched Little Woods which I liked but I thought the ending was kind of abrupt and sloppy. Tessa Thompson was great though and she has such a soothing melodious voice.

I'm sort of considering seeing Long Shot, but I haven't been really excited by many movies lately, so I probably won't find it in myself to drag myself out to see it.

Went to a preview screening of Booksmart last night! It was really cute, with a lot of positives - female leads with a strong friendship, a diverse cast, multiple LGBT characters, and eye-catching cinematography. There were a couple of things I didn't like - an unnecessary plotline with a teacher, an OTT bit at the end - and the script wasn't perfect, but the actors were excellent. I would say it's objectively a 3.5, but I give it a 4 because I want more stuff like this! Ultimately, it reminded me how much I loved Lady Bird. Wtg, Beanie Feldstein, for being in two excellent coming-of-age flicks!

Definitely going to see Long Shot, maybe tomorrow night?

I went to a screening of Booksmart last night too! I didn’t love it but I liked it. I LOVED their friendship so much!!

That's a great way to put it - their friendship was the best part of the movie for me! I thought that maybe I didn't love it bc I'm outside of the target age range, but I hope it resonates with younger people.

I saw a screening of Long Shot last week. I liked it a lot. It was super funny & some parts were very sweet.

I saw a screening of Booksmart last night. I enjoyed it but I wish I loved it more. The two mains were fantastic and I loved their relationship. And the guy that plays Eric in Santa Clarita Diet is in it, I like him. :)

Agree with everything you said! I was excited to see Eric, but it hurt my heart remembering that SCD was canceled :'(
