I was bored throughout the battle, I preferred battle of the bastards

my boyfriend thought it was weirdly shot, like in one minute you'd have tons of zombies and in the other jon is like taking them out one by one

t h i s

the scenes were so weirdly shot to me, i almost thought they were running out of budget, it was so choppy ? especially the cellar scenes ugh it was annoying.

also for the love of melisandre someone get an OUNCE of light in the scene

i watched the behind the scenes and they said they chopped it like that so it doesn't get boring but idk if they succeeded in that lmao

[Spoiler (click to open)]I loved the ending, i don't mind that it wasn't Jon.

My friend wanted Jamie to help Arya get to Bran and then he'd like sacrifice himself, and Arya would take his face lmao

GoT/asoiaf fandom at large is in shambles and divided. I've never seen so many negative reactions before, not even for the bad pussy episode or beyond the wall. It used to be just the book readers complaining for the most part and others telling them to quit the whining but now a lot of people who've never read the books seem to be pissed too.

It's fitting that D&D are moving on to Star Wars. It seems the only place they'll get more pushback will be there.

The people complaining seem to just be mad they didn't get Jon saving the day, it's exhausting.

It's not just that. Many people are in general miffed that there was so little narrative pay-off for the characters who were heavily involved with the beyond the wall storyline for years and the general massive plot armour most of the main and secondary characters still have.

I never actually thought cersei would end up being the final villian. [Link to spoiler]And I guess if the leaks are true we are looking at a three way jon vs cersei vs dany war for the throne, with jon killing dany????? which is insane.

I'm glad it was arya who killed him, although the way it was done was quite anticlimactic, like for eight sevens the threat of 'the long night' has been looming but all it took was not even one night and a tiny girl with a spear from a tree lol. like what's the point of jon and bran's story arc's now? I guess the story is really all about the 'throne' huh.

[Spoiler (click to open)]Why the fuck would Jon fight for the throne, he doesn't want it.........

[Spoiler (click to open)]One of my favorite theories that I read before the season started was that Jon wins but then destroys the throne. I think Jon is mostly dumb but if that was the ending I wouldn't be mad

Lmao that would be great. But idk if it's important if the throne is destroyed? They could just build a new one, it's the status they're fighting over, not the actual chair idk
