I was so embarrassed when I had to get glasses as a kid and I always tried not to wear them even though I was blind as a bat. Something flipped in me the second I became an adult though and now I love them. Yes to glasses. Yes to glasses and formal wear. I think they're so cute and I love being able to see.

loool I was the exact opposite. I wanted to be cool in the second grade and purposely failed my eye exam, but since then I actually need glasses and avoid them haha.

I wear glasses and only take them off if I want to go into a mosh pit at a concert... then walk of shame back to my friend 90% of the time since the guys in there are too big/there’s no women in it and I don’t want to die

yup and I love them. I have no desire to switch over to contacts. I wore them for a bit in my teens but after one came out while I was driving, I went back to glasses.
