I don't even know how to process that quote, and in what universe is Chris Rock living thinking just cuz Jussie has light skin he would run Hollywood. Chris has had more success than Jussie would ever regardless..

Who’s the most popping light skinned male actor? I feel like Michael Ealy had his moment some years ago, but I think HW actually prefers darker black men and lighter black women.

yeah all the black men i can think of who are having a moment of shine are dark-skinned, and even historically--in hollywood--like you said they seem to have preferred dark skinned men. i feel like we're really just starting to see dark-skinned women be elevated (still at a snails pace, but still more than in the past imo) and i'm excited for the future.
