When I put liquid liner on my top lid I never look effortless and cute like she does in that gif. Like I know it takes practice but I am still at the level of a toddler trying to color inside the lines and failing

I heard her Velvet lipsticks were amazing. I really want Velvet Morning, but I feel like orange-reds don't look as good on me as they do with someone with pale skin or much darker skin.

Oh I fucking hate felt-tip liquid liners, I would not recommend them to anyone. I can never get a nice line with them, they don't have the right flexibility. I have one felt-tip liner because I wanted a brown eyeliner and the only one I could find on the day was felt-tip, and it drives me mad.

I use NYX Epic Ink now! It’s similar to Heroine Make which is my favorite so far. I think Stila is also a brush? I know a lot of people love the Stila one but I only use liquid liner at most four times a month so I can’t bring myself to shell out $20 for it

You’re the second person to recommend the PF liner so I will have to check it out

Nah, the stila (stay all day, right?) is a felt tip. The Kat Von D liner is a brush tip, but uh, she's trash and it's overpriced anyway.

Having used both, the main differences between the two are that the NYX one gets into all the fine lines on my eyelids (I'm 28, they are not particularly wrinkly) and the PF one doesn't, and the PF is more of a matte finish. If you do get the PF one, make sure it's the ULTRA black, the regular black is more of a grey!

she is re-releasing the lipsticks this summer--I'm pretty sure she said so in an IG story last week

I'm not going to hem and haw this time, I'm snatching up Velvet Jazz

I pulled the trigger on a mini trio of Pat McGrath lipsticks and lordt I really love a great matte formulation

Oh excellent! I think I will try and pick up Velvet Jazz as well, it's the only color of the three that I know will likely be flattering on me
