really? I turned it off on a plane about a quarter of the way through... does it get more exciting? Or did you like it for the slowness?

I didn't find it slow at all, but it does get more dramatic, and there's a "twist". I don't know how far you watched it, but by the end i was a sobbing mess.

If Beale Street Could Talk got added to Hulu yay!!!! I’ve added so many Criterion films to my Kanopy watchlist so I’ll try watching some of those this weekend. My university is having a small Latino Film Festival so I’m definitely going to see some of those films next week in between clinic

I saw the trailer for Beach Bum last week and... it just looks so horrible.

I haven't been able to go to the cinema this week yet. I really wanted to see Mid90s, Of Fathers and Sons, Free Solo and some other stuff that they've already stopped showing now. I'm probably going to see "Us" on Monday. I hate horror movies but I want to believe the hype.
