I think I watched a reality show called Class Reunion. It was interesting to watch how they changed from high school (I think it was like a 10 year reunion) and how some fell back into old patterns.

I think I watched that too. There was one woman who had dated the same guy for years in school but was super weird around him on the show even though he’d moved way on, and another woman had used a cane in HS and was something of an outcast but became a model.

Yeah, I also think there was a storyline of the fat kid/nerd/class clown who now hit it off with the cheerleader/popular girl. I don't remember but I was hoping someone would come out or something during the reunion.

The Swan sounds like a fake show in a dystopian nightmare work of fiction. Jesus...

I remember watching it as a kid, I was 11 when it came on. I LOVED (and still love) Makeover shows. The Swan and Extreme Makeover were my shit. I used to watch them with my parents and we'd be catty bitches the entire time about the contestants. Of course, my parents and I all have eating disorders and body dysmorphia and it was a horrible thing for my impressionable ass to be watching.
But still, I love makeovers. Snog, Marry, Avoid is one of my faves, but I skip the entire middle and rating part. I really just love before and afters.

I reference rich girls at least once a week. nyc prep was my fucking life bc they were so ridiculous trying to be grown. but instead of ~cool 30 year olds, they all acted like middle aged divorcees. it was amazing.

I also loved the era of manpageants--Mr. Romance (MY FAVE EVER), Manhunt, Kept, Stripsearch.
