seeing 'hotel mumbai' tomorrow, though i imagine i won't enjoy it because it'll be such a downer of a bloodbath

I don't like that the review called it a "white knuckle thriller." Like, maybe this isn't the right format for this? A ton of people died...

the movie is both unnerving and unpleasant as it was based off real events. it's hard to really write something positive about it

The only new releases at my theater this weekend are Us and Gloria Bell. I plan to see both (though Us will prob terrify me).

This past week I saw Climax (worst film I've seen this year and I just don't get the good reviews), Nancy Drew (cute, done a disservice by the total lack of promo), and Five Feet Apart which I had some problems with but enjoyed overall.

Trying to go see Us tonight, but the best seats are obviously all picked out... should have planned ahead! Gonna keep checking in case ppl cancel their tickets, but If we can't get to it tonight, we'll go Saturday. I'm pissed that I read too much of that spoiler review posted here from December bc I haven't forgotten enough of it, smh @ me spoiling myself.
