Kind of how Thanos is a Darkseid ripoff, even though comics Darkseid was first and superior, but the DCEU, being the complete mess that it is, couldn't get their act together to present him first.

lmao the amount of crazy shit happening and how committed to it the movie was, was half the reason why I enjoyed this movie so much. It was like watching Jupiter Ascending all over again. I liked both movies, though.
