I really started following them with the release of 'Boxer' which remains my favorite album from them. I've been hooked ever since. I just love Matt's voice so much. As for a favorite song.. ugh they have so many amazing ones. This one always puts me in a mood though:

I Need My Girl is probably my favorite The National song ever. I can’t even tell you the amount of times I’ve played this song on repeat when I’ve been really depressed. It’s one of my go to depression songs.

Bloodbuzz Ohio was the first song of The National I ever heard, and I immediately fell in love, and have loved The National ever since.
