I haven't finished the first season yet but I didn't get that sense at all, Danny comes off nice and well-adjusted in comparison to Johhny lol.

FINALLY!! Idc, I love this show. They finally figured out how to make me care about something Karate Kid-related - make it all about Johnny! Also, if S2 ends up being about Daniel and Johnny teaming up to take down Kreese I will love EVERYTHING.

I'm so excited. I love that Johnny is still stuck in the 80's too, cause I love all teh throwbacks. Cruel Summer in the trailer is a nice throwback. It looks like their focusing on Daniel's POV a bit this season, according to that trailer. I don't know how I feel about that, cause I never in a million years thought I'd feel this way, but I'm loving Johnny more then Daniel. I love his relationship with Miguel, so I still hope that is a bit front and center.

I am ready for Sensei Kreese and what is to come. If they do team up, I am so here for it. Also, his "finish him" line was a nice throwback too. I love the rumors surrounding that girl who he says that to. Rumors are she is either Ali's daughter, Mike Barnes daughter or Kreese's granddaughter and apparently she is gonna be Samantha's rival.

I'm so here for this. IDEC. lol

100%. The first season has a 100% rating on Rotten tomatoes and it's well deserved.

If you love 80's and the Karate Kid, you def need to watch this. It took me by surprise. It is really good.

You should give it a try.

Watch the original Karate Kid movie if you haven't already, then watch the first two episodes of Cobra Kai. They're both free episodes on YT and both are very good. It'll be enough to see if you're interested. Then if you want to continue watching the other ones, you can try YT premium for free for 30 days. Just cancel it after you watch the series and you want be charged. That's what I did, but now I have to buy it again to watch the new season. It is def worth it, esp if you love 80's/Karate Kid.

If I'm being honest, I wish it would have been picked up by Netflix or some bigger platform. The show barely gets exposure and is not really taken seriously, cause of it being on YT.

The show is fantastic and deserves better, but also, thank goodness for YT picking it up though, because it's my new favorite show.

I believe it was offered to both Netflix and Hulu but Youtube actually shelled out the most cash for it. Which is strange because like you said, it barely gets any exposure on that platform. Nothing YT takes on does. I'm glad the actors are so passionate about it because I probably wouldn't have known it existed otherwise.

S1 was shockingly good. The first movie is one of my favorites and I genuinely enjoyed this. I'm glad they managed to get Martin Kove back.
