I'm really excited for Gloria Bell, it looks like the type of fun, life-affirming, uplifting movie I need right now (and if it's just going to depress the hell out of me, someone please warn me ahead of time).

my local theatre finally got vox lux so i'm hoping to see it soon. my march is so busy idk when i'll have time to go see anything else :(((

Not sure about Gloria Bell, as I didn't really love the original, but I do like Julianne & The Jesus. I saw Triple Frontier at the big fancy premiere on Sunday (in the snow) even though it looked like a total Michael Bay-esque explodey bro-fest because I love J.C. Chandor and I trusted that he wouldn't make something that douchey, and I was right, it's def not that, it's way more of a character study. Kinda takes too long to get to the good emotional stuff, but the photography is gorgeous and thank GOD someone finally had the sense to unite Noted BFFs Oscar Isaac and Pedro Pascal onscreen <3333333

(also? Most cheapskate premiere ever. They offered only teeny tiny Dasani water bottles, no snacks or anything. I mean, even for the important people. smh.)

Def wanna see I'm Not Here, which I have to stop calling I'm Not There. I saw Transit last night and I'm still mulling it over, what a very strange and eerie film.

I’m glad to hear you liked Triple Frontier because the only thing that really appealed to me was JC and Oscar being reunited. Not sure if I’ll catch in on the big screen or wait until it hits Netflix next weekend.

all these 'julianne moore gives best career-best performance' reviews for gloria bell got me hyped as fuck. seeing it tomorrow. gonna see the kid next week and that ben affleck netflix thing at some point
