I'm going to watch the trailers for climax and giant little ones later, they seem interesting

I feel like the movie theater has been dull for MONTHS, I saw isn't it romantic and it was cute enough and DAYUM I have never been into liam before but his body after that shower???

and I think that's pretty much the only movie I've seen in theaters in 2019 (except for a second viewing of bumblebee) which is crazy for me

I've been watching netflix mostly, I'm on season 14 of grey's anatomy, it's taken me like six+ months but I'm almost caught up with the show lol

Glad you saw Isn't it Romantic, I agree it wasn't groundbreaking or anything but it was cute and I thought you'd like it. And yeah, ITA re: Liam!

I haven't been going to theaters much, either! But I think this month will be better for new releases.

I watched Isn't It Romantic last night and wasn't into it. It had some funny moments but it was really walking the line between parodying a Hollywood romcom and...being a Hollywood romcom.

Collider gave Greta a scathing review. I was kind of interested at first, so I might still go see it but it's definitely tempered my expectations.

I am definitely going to go see Greta! I've read good things about Climax, but just watching the trailer made me anxious so I don't think it's for me.

Idk why A24 decided to release two films the same weekend.

Lately, I've been watching a lot of TV - finished True Detective (pretty good) and Russian Doll (loved it), and started The Assassination of Gianni Versace (so far, so good!).

I saw Greta preview at the cinema last summer so I was confused that it's just now being released! I'm still an incubator of germs so I'll probably wait until it hits home viewing.

I've still got the last 2 ep of True Detective to watch. I've managed to avoid spoilers so I'm curious how it will end.

I'm not sure about Russian Doll but I've also heard great things about The Umbrella Academy!

I'm definitely going to watch The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind since it's on Netflix

Beale Street finally comes out here next Thursday.

I will be shocked if Beale Street ever comes out in my city/county (and I'm in the US) - I think it's in a deep crevasse with Destroyer, On the Basis of Sex, Vox Lux, etc. The theater that would most likely show it keeps throwing up showings of crappy Green Book. :-( Widows did get a decent run at a theater in the suburbs last year, though.
