- Originally this baby was going to be named Tezlee.

i still can't believe they thought it was a good idea to have another kid now though, especially with all of their issues.

It was definitely not planned. Tyler had one foot out the door.

He was begging for a baby, but she didn’t want one because she was terrified of getting post partum again. She caved and took out her IUD, got pregnant and lost the baby. As a result of losing the baby she spiraled and went to all of those outpatient centers. Tyler started to check out and then I guess they were negligent in using protection and she got pregnant. It’s honestly an absolute mess.

I also felt bad for them when it came to their first baby because it was obvious they weren’t ready to give her up/didn’t fully understand what it meant. Way too young to be making those choices.

yeah i feel bad for them re: the adoption as it seemed they were kind of conned into it. i think a lot of those super christian adoption agencies are the same. i also feel bad for brandon and theresa though.

I definitely think they’ve been wrong when it comes to the adoption but the whole adoption rubbed me the wrong way to begin with.

Not only that, then they became stars of a show about motherhood and Cate would spend years looking at her co-stars raising their babies and knowing that she could have kept her daughter, the MTV money would let her afford raising her - but when she was giving birth she had no idea the show would become so big (or even continue past her 16 and Pregnant Episode).
