I've seen Machine Gun Kelly in more movies than I could name any of his songs.

In their height of fame, Tommy Lee was a god, it wasn't known what a complete prick he was. All the "bad boy" stories were about Vince Neil and whether or not he wrote "home sweet home" while in jail for a drunk driving/vehicular homicide accident.

I'm not saying he isn't a total dick, but if they're going for the band's status in that era...

Yeah, I don't think Tommy's behind-the-scenes mess was very public during their heydey in the '80s. If they do the 90's, that's when more stuff got out about him to the general public. Vince definitely got the mainstream headlines for his drunk driving. The fatal accident where he was completely slapped on the wrist for happened at the height of their early popularity in the mid-80s.

Also, during the '80s, the focus was usually on all the lead singers/sometimes the lead guitarists. Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses (and maybe Metallica with Lars, Aerosmith with Joe Perry, Bon Jovi with Richie Sambora & Def Leppard due to Rick losing his arm) were a bit different in that more people knew more than one member of the band, but most people who casually followed rock at least knew who Vince and Axl were. Tommy and Nikki definitely weren't unknown, though (poor Mick, lol, he definitely did not have the lead guitar ~cachet).

I need to send this to my mom. I like to joke with her that she named me after Tommy Lee. She didn't ofc but it makes her mad.

But also. Why Motley Crue?

I'm so tired of teaser trailers. Just release a proper trailer.
