the misconceptions came from her doing interviews where she said she wasn't vaccinating her kids and that her pediatrician agreed with her.

Yeah the replies to the tweet indicated that. She should have just said she changed her mind. Unless she's lying to shut up the haters. I hope not.

Perhaps she raged so hard the counter decided to let the standby keep the first class seat she was late to LOL. Edit: her story doesn't make sense. According to her, the 'lady stewardess' (I would assume cabin crew) shut the door on her. If she wasn't allowed on, she would have never been able to pass the ticket scan and tunnel thing to the plane. It's a huge safety concern etc if the gate agent scans the boarding pass and she never boards.

yeah but you're not even allowed to go near the jetway door until after the agent scans your boarding pass. and they wouldn't have scanned her ticket if they weren't going to let her board. so idk how they could have "slammed the door in her face" if her boarding pass wasn't even scanned?

Also, I don't really understand her story. "Everything was closed" and she understands that, but other people who also had suitcases were let on at the same time?

They probably only had handbags, or she had multiple carryons (they’re more permissive bout that in first).

Yeah, I feel like there's some detail missing that makes this more logical but would make her tantrum less righteous so she's leaving it out.

Or perhaps those passengers might be standby and got on due to the empty seats but the cabin was full enough to not have enough overhead space, so they had to tag their bags to drop it off for check in and since the counter is closed, it was too late for her.

I hate connecting flights, and avoid them if it's at all possible. Missing my flight by a couple minutes is my nightmare, especially when there is nothing I can do about it, bc then you're totally at the mercy of the airline.

Noted! So glad that my home airport gives me a lot of choices of who/where to fly. I don't even fly direct via Newark if I can do JFK instead, which is almost always the case.

I only ever fly out of Newark and it's pretty much always been a dream for me! I have TSA pre check and most of the time I don't wait more than 5-10 mins in security. The Delta terminal in particular. but I also live in NJ so that's also the main selling point, as opposed to BK.

Whew TSA and airport people can be irritating sometimes but legit observing how entitled people act at the airport is a mess. Esp white people
