I really liked the first couple episodes and then with the latest one I was like... they still can't write women well, lmao. I'll still stick with it though. Mahershala is always so compelling to watch, and it's basically a rehash of S1, which I was obsessed with and it's a formula that works so hey.
Yeah, I feel the same way about it being a rehash of S1! But as you said, Mahershala is great, and I think they've done a nice job of differentiating all three timelines, though I don't know how necessary it was to divide them this way. I guess we'll see if it pays off.
I haven't watched this yet because I decided I'd rather marathon it once the season ends. I may change my mind because then I can talk about it in posts! I loved S1 but didn't see S2. I think that may be my next endeavor, because I like him as an actor and it's getting good buzz.
I like this season a lot - it’s certainly better than the mess of S2. It doesn’t quite have the wow factor of S1, but the acting and directing of this season is still excellent.
I’m avoiding most forum discussions of it though - I can’t be doing with people’s stupid theories.
I know I remember getting really into the theories in season 1 and then at the end being like, that’s it? I’m really enjoying this season and I don’t need to go down a rabbit hole ridiculous theories that won’t pan out.
