Hearing that cop laugh after realizing he beat up a deaf guy for not listening to him... christ. Of course he didn't get fired.

I don't know sign language. I will say that one of the most moving pieces of theater I ever saw was Deaf West's production of Spring Awakening; they had both deaf and hearing actors and singers, and used sign language. Looks like some of it is up on YouTube:

Now I'm reminded of that person who snuck on stage at Mandela's funeral and just..........faked sign language.

I learned a little sign language on my own in elementary school. I should've stuck with it.
