Sameeeee. I had them at an Italian place like a month ago for the first time ever. They were roasted with olive oil and garlic and then Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Yum!

Idk, steamed? With little to no seasoning? My elementary school prepared them terribly is all I vaguely remember.

Roasting them is the key. Steaming them doesn’t have the same effect. I want to try air-frying them.

My mom used to steam them when I was growing up and I didn’t even mind them that way (although is light years better). I love the texture of all the layers.

Don't overcook them and they are lovely. Cook them for less than 10 minutes. It's worth it, I promise. Also do not forget the overload of vitamin C you can get out of those wonderful green dragonballs.

Aw, brussel sprouts remind me of my grandfather - he was the first person to cook them for me when I was a kid (like frozen Birdseye ones in a boil-in-bag, or something like that) and while kid me was eh at first, I got over it. Haven't had them in yeaaaaaaaars, tho. I should have some this weekend in tribute.

He would also buy me and my brother Froot Loops cereal, Sugar Smacks, and Moon Pies, so he was also a typical grandparent, lest you think he was evil and also made me eat liver (which I've never had, hmm.)

I remember last time I ate them as a child I threw up, I've never had any since/

That's exactly the reaction Brussel sprouts deserve.

I mean, raw brussel sprouts are gross. They should've given her a burnt one.
