Is tipping in Australia like to being in England, aka it’s not normal per se but they almost expect the tourists to do it now? As an American, it’s really confusing in other places, especially when I feel like they now expect you to tip even though it’s a place/city with “no tipping”.
Thanks that’s good to know! I’ve heard of the extraordinary service thing - but then I feel like, how do you judge? I feel like I’d feel too guilty because we’re so trained to rip here (and service wages depending on the the place) can be so shifty.
