radiohead is an artistic and commercial legend that has and will be referenced for current and future generations of musicians and performers and thom yorke still gives no fucks because that's not why he or anyone else is radiohead makes music.

I was mostly referencing him saying that he wouldn’t mind an Oscar nod for best score since he spent a year on it. I thought it was interesting since they tend to be w/e about awards but he’s making a exception in this instance.

i think that has more to do with how personally challenged he was working on the project. he turned down luca guadagnino's offer to score suspiria several times because he didn't think he would be able to meet the challenges he's never dealt with before to compose a score and original music for a film. i think he takes a different sense of pride in terms of what he was able to accomplish being in different artistic territory and mostly on his own.
