new years eve 2015 was the first time I threw up from drinking lol, I really thought I was immune to that because I had never even come close before (even though I had had plenty to drink before..)

so that one always stands out in my mind

and then new years 2016 I had a night that felt like a judd apatow movie or something because I was with these new kinda trashy but sweet friends I had made in my new town and they had to go to their weed man and he was like this hugh hefner old man in a robe and I was just like am I actually sitting in this man's living room right now and the night just got weirder lol

this year I'm working late new years eve and early new years day so fuck it I'm doing nothing lol

I don't think I've ever had a great NYE? Last year was fun because we went to see one of my faves in concert, but that was a rare exception. Sometimes we go to a party, sometimes we stay home, but it's usually nothing exciting.

Nine or ten years ago, I got in a stupid fight with my bff on NYE, and we stopped talking for over a year. Definitely my worst NYE.

my brother is getting married!!! it's vvv small -- they're doing a private ceremony and then a dinner for about 20 people, but i can't wait. plus it'll be nice not to feel ~pressure about having insane nye plans for just one year.

i totes feel you - my birthday is dec 24th and everything closes around 6 o’clock. i just have lunch with friends and call it an evening.
