JDM is finally returning - along with some other surprise guest stars - for the 300th episode (titled Lebanon) airing February 7th. He hasn't appeared since 2008.

I remember the most ridiculous line the one episode....I don't remember which but Castiel was pissed at Dean about something and Dean said something like "Cas.....the last time somebody looked at me like that, I got laid." and I think I almost sprained my eyes they rolled so damn hard. They baited that shit every season.

I'm actually surprised by this.

I'm sure it will be disappointing.

Then again, I thought I'd hate Mary returning and ended up really liking it/her. I was always kind of annoyed by Dean's hero-worshipping her, and when they took that away from him it really worked for me.

I thought that was definitely one of the better character points of the last few years - Dean realising he'd overidealised his mom and that actually he'd been repressing a lot around her death.
