When Kathryn Bigelow was going to direct this, she scouted locations here in Argentina, and even started talks with Argentinian actors (Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum were supposed to start also). But when she left her duties as director, everything was scrapped...and the movie was shot in Hawaii....
