They don't do nominations it's a bunch of critics from L.A. who discuss all the films they've seen (which is like all of them so they would have seen ASIB for sure) and then vote on who they want to win.

These always take 5ever, I was like "Oh I forgot these were today" at around 2 and they juuuuuust wrapped up now.

So excited about Debra Granik winning a director award! I wish more women were getting serious pushes from their studios this year, especially from the indie crowd because Zhao, Granik and Ramsay all had amaaaaazing films.

Lmao their process is so painful to follow, that lunch break ffs. Why don't they just decide on the winners and then announce them all at once like everyone else?

another awards did the same thing, announcing them alive (i think i posted that one earlier too) and was just so fucking annoyed by it. just dump it all at once, it's not the end of the world, guys

even the fucking oscars aren't as long as their voting process like ugh

I haven't seen the film yet, but I guess I thought Steven Yeun was lead! Interesting choices there, I lol'd at Hugh Grant sneaking in runner-up for Supporting... apparently Paddington 2 isn't gonna back down just yet!

Yaaaas @ Olivia Colman and Regina King!

Glad best director went to a woman, but I wasn't as blown away by Leave No Trace as these critics groups seem to be.

Beale St score winning is richly deserved.

Still haven't seen Roma. but I stg, we are gonna go see it this week!!! Life keeps getting in the way of movies.

Holy shit, Debra Granik! I didn't love Leave No Trace as much as I wanted to, but I'm happy for her. Also yes @ Toni Collette and Elizabeth Debicki. I'm gonna be so pissed when Toni is paid dust at the Oscars after all these critics notices.
