i find it really disturbing that kate and her lawyer didn't show up to court. that shows a profound lack of care for collin -- even if she agreed that jon should have custody, she should have showed the fuck up

I feel bad for those kids. Even if they had great parents *they don't* it would be so hard to grow up with that many siblings. I just don't see how you could get the emotional support and attention you need, dividing it among all those kids.. like I'm sure they have the money and whatever but that doesn't mean anything.

Not surprising, Hannah wanted to/has been living with Jon the last I heard and Collin was living in some kind of care facility for years, I doubt Kate would have fought to keep custody of either.

It’s a sad message to send your kids. Even if she agreed that being with Jon was what the kids wanted, she should have still shown up in court to show the kids she actually gives a damn about their wellbeing.
