I finally got to see The Favourite last night, and I absolutely loved it. Without thinking back on everything I've seen so far this year in too much depth, I think it's the best thing I've seen in theatres in 2018, and is my top choice for Best Picture as of now (and about five or six other awards). It was giving me so many Amadeus (my fav Best Picture winner) vibes!!! The performances were killer.

I told somebody else in another post, I have a friend traveling to visit me specifically so we could see Mary Queen of Scots together, but after the trip was booked they bumped the release date here back a week, lol. I don't know how I feel about it. I'm not excited, but I'm not not excited either...idk, lol.

Very excited for Vox Luxe and Mary Queen of Scots. I'm getting so many insta ads for The Favorite and I'm definitely intrigued; may need to add that to my list of movies.

I LOVED the favourite all of the actors were spectacular but tbh [ending spoilers]maybe I'm not deep and artsy enough bc I didn't like/get the ending lol

Haha, I can understand that. Some guy in the audience of the screening I saw it at initially was like [Spoiler (click to open)]"Really?" once it went to black, and then the titles came up. So I bet that will be a common complaint.

rare exports
mercy christmas

out of those 3, Rare Exports was the best!
