lol Green Book is really going to ride that black man's narrative told by white man car to the Oscars isn't it.

Probably how they will justify that the Academy isn’t so white this year.

I hope it loses everything.

Hmpfh, I don’t see Killing Eve.

I'm not sure Killing Eve counts, as it's mostly British-made.

(That being said, IA it's one of the best of 2018.)

Fav TV show of the year was probably Sharp Objects. Amy Adams and Eliza Scanlan ripped the wig straight off my damn scalp holy shit.

Fav movie...hmm that’s tough. I still need to watch Eighth Grade I feel like that’ll be it based on my tastes. Pump them coming of age feels into my veins. Maybe I’ll rent it tonight...

Wooo, when that bitch said [Spoiler (click to open)]"don't tell mama" that shit fucked me up. I honestly knew from the beginning it was her, but it still was well done and entertaining as shit.

A Quiet Place is really here while Chazelle's flop First Man is nowhere to be found in the awards conversation lmao

i'm just okay with the former while the latter was technically good but cold story-wise. rip.

Literally just finished first reformed and I was shook tbh. Definitely one of my favs of the year. I wish Paul Schrader wasn’t such a dumbass so I could have just unabashedly rooted for him the entire awards season.

I’m still pulling for Ethan for actor tbh. Especially over Viggo, Bradley or Christian. I’d otherwise love a Rami win but I can’t handle the idea of a Singer-directed film getting an Oscar in the year 2018.

i hate that i like ethan as an actor as much as a do. he’s such a chump.
