I don't know much about the British film industry compared to Hollywood but I do find it interesting how the Former Child Star curse doesn't seem anywhere near as prevalent across the pond

If I might pull a theory out of my ass. Even if your kids gets successful in the British entertainment industry it normally just means a nice decent income, not millions. This might attract more kids actually interested in acting/singing instead of stage parents hoping to leach off their famous kids.

Having normal parents is probably the biggest influence on not becoming a child star mess.
