i like what she said here (i haven't watched the rest of the interview yet) i saw a lot of people on twitter dragging her for doing the bare minimum and not wanting to give her props and i get that reaction too. to me its like bechdel test where the bar is so low purposely to show you how far we have to go, so i like that what she's demanding is such a baseline thing and she was so adamant about it being white people's responsibility to demand more color and taking accountability, i hope that inspires more to do the same. do i wish it were enough that POC voices have been saying this forever? yes and it's frustrating as hell, but that's not the world we live in lol
