Men always surprise me with their midlife-crisis extravaganzas.

Mte, you think you've seen everything and then...nope, wrestling death match.

In fairness, he's been wrestling in one form or another for like 20 years. He's been a fan since he was a kid, and he even did a wrestling based movie 18 years ago.

I like wrestling but I just can’t for the life of me get into this hardcore death match shit. It’s just so unnecessary violent. Also this being done at Joey Janela’s thing isn’t surprising.

How is this like even legal? It seems too brutal and I cringed making this post. I didn’t even bother to watch the videos.

Yeah idk. These people get legitimately hurt. Like, I can do tables and ladders and even thumbtacks. But light bulbs? Like a few months ago, my fiancé was pulling up YouTube videos of hardcore matches botches and like, there was one where they fucked up so hard a dude got blind in one eye. And another one where the dude, who is a known asshole, was like “yeah I was legit trying to kill him.”

That sounds like a total New Jack quote, I can't think of any other wrestler who'd flat out admit to wanting to kill someone.
