I'm going to the cinema on sunday to watch "The Cakemaker" & "Juliet, Naked".

The Cakemaker is an Israelian/German movie that sounded intriguing:

"Thomas, a young and talented German baker, is having an affair with Oren, an Israeli married man who dies in a car crash. Thomas travels to Jerusalem seeking answers. Keeping his secret for himself, he starts working for Anat, his lover's widow, who owns a small café. Although not fully kosher and despised by the religious, his delicious cakes turn the place into a city attraction. Finding himself involved in Anat's life in a way far beyond his anticipation, Thomas will stretch his lie to a point of no return."

Heard really good things about The Cakemaker! It came out here in the spring, but I never got around to seeing it; hopefully it ends up on Netflix or something.

lol same, I always want to know the endings to movies that I know I'll never see because I'm too scared (or lazy). I found the entire synopsis here if you want to read it.

It opens a bit wider next week (major US cities like SF, Chicago and Houston), but I imagine they're going to wait and see how it does before trying to expand it further.

I am totally a night owl, so I am interested in seeing Jonathan, and hope he is victorious. Nhf the villain overtones. I am really tired of early risers being seen as virtuous angels. I've known plenty of people who get to work @ 6am, but spend an hour eating breakfast, smoking and watching TV in the break-room. They ain't working.

Also interested in Cam.

I saw Fantastic Beasts 2 last night. It was okay.
