I just finished Times Convert and it was entirely Meh. I adore the trilogy though, I will watch when it airs here, Is Gallowglass in it yet? How is it in relation to the books. does it stick fairly close to the first book?

Gallowglass isn't in it yet, he's gonna be in the next season, so we have to wait until 2020 to see him. Can't wait for his book though :D

I'm not a huge fan of the books so I think the show improves a lot of its weak spots. It's not perfect but it's fun. This season just covers the first book.

It sounds like they wanted 5 seasons total but are only getting one per book, which might encourage them to cut down on the third's endless useless subplots.

Yeah. I'm hoping, wishing praying, etc. that they might consider doing back-to-back filming for 2 and 3, but it seems unlikely.

I am still liking this hot mess show/guilty pleasure. Even though I still struggle with Teresa's bad American accent. But I wonder how they'll work in her pregnancy. Hmmm.

I think she said that the baby should be here before they shoot the next season(s). I think I read this in one of the posts on here.

Yeah Teresa will be fully post-partem when they shoot. They're filming present-day scenes first and then picking up her story when she's back.

From what she was saying on insta, filming begins spring/early summer, basically without her to fit as much in as possible, and then she's back in July after her maternity leave.
