Often actors have the first round of for your consideration campaigning written into their contracts so the studios have to put everyone in. That way the actors don't have to pay themselves if their part ends up being the breakout one.

i've gone to a few movies very recently and they only showed the Widows trailer once for me. i hope they're creating buzz i want it to do well!
