I have 0 hope for this. The second movie was one giant spit on the first one, which was a legit masterpiece and still remains one of my all-time animated faves. What they're doing to Toothless is unforgivable; he started out as an intelligent and proud ~cat~ and now ends up as a dumb "bring me the stick" "look at me i know some tricks" ~dog, bleh. Besides, didn't the second movie already have the same premise? About evil someone collecting/taking away all the dragons? Embarrassing.
